Big fire destroyed Gran-Circus Norte-Americano in Niterói, killing 317 people.
Criminals set fire during a show in the afternoon.The circus had a capacity of 2500 people, the show was fully booked. In only twenty minutes time, the circus was completely destroyed. Most victims were children.
